Information and Accuracy

Content on this site is general information, researched and fact-checked, and provided without warranty. Prices, schedules and availability change, and the national park authority sets its own fees independently of us.

Always verify prices and availability with us before booking. Every quotation we issue states the figures in writing, in both USD and IDR, before you pay anything.

Bookings

Bookings are handled by the relevant operator. A 50% deposit confirms your cabin or charter; the remaining balance is due 14 days before departure (H-14). For bookings made inside 14 days, full payment confirms the trip.

Your written confirmation lists the vessel, cabin category, departure date, meeting point, inclusions and the balance due date.

Payments

All payments go to the company account named on your invoice. We will never ask you to pay a personal account, and we never request card details over chat.

We accept international bank transfer in USD, Indonesian bank transfer in IDR, card payment via secure link, and low-fee transfer services. Any gateway fee is stated upfront.

Park Fees and Permits

The Komodo National Park entrance and activity fee — currently IDR 650,000 (about USD 40) per person — is a government charge set by the park authority and paid separately. No operator includes it in a boat price.

Ranger guiding is mandatory on Komodo and Rinca islands and is arranged for you as part of your trip.

Weather, Safety and Changes

Safety decisions rest with the harbourmaster and our captains, and are never negotiable. If the port closes or conditions are judged unsafe, your trip is rescheduled to the next available departure at no cost, or moved to alternative dates that suit you.

If rescheduling is impossible — for example, you are flying home — we work out a fair resolution in writing, which can include a credit toward a future trip or a refund of unused services.

Itinerary adjustments at sea, such as swapping the order of stops or sheltering a route, are made by the captain for safety and do not constitute a cancellation.
